Whether you're new to gardening or looking to refine your skills, Ashley will guide you through the essentials of starting herbs with seeds. Learn about soil preparation, choosing the right seeds, and creating the perfect conditions for healthy, thriving herbs. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have your own freshly planted herb seeds to take home and nurture into a flavorful and fragrant garden. We will supply all the materials needed for this class, including a seed starting kit with soil, a warming mat and seeds.Ashley is a local farmer that works at the nursery as a sales associate. She is our ambassador for The Farmstand at New Leaf Nursery Hayden. The Farmstand is a seasonal market for local produce growers, as well as cottage goods artisans (meat, cheese, eggs and bread). The Farmstand runs during the growing season from June to September, showcasing seasonal produce and foods for your daily needs.
