Experience the comfort of classic French baking in our Pain au Lait Workshop!In this 3-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn to create Pain au Lait: a soft, tender milk bread known for its light sweetness, buttery flavor, and pillowy crumb.
With step-by-step instruction, you’ll mix, knead, and shape your own enriched dough, then bake it to golden perfection. Along the way, you’ll explore techniques for working with soft doughs, achieving an even rise, and adding signature scoring or decorative finishes.
You’ll take home:
• A freshly baked loaf (or buns) of Pain au Lait
• Printed recipe and tips for enriched bread success
• Hands-on experience with mixing, shaping, and proofing
• The skills to recreate this comforting bread at home
Whether enjoyed at breakfast, alongside coffee, or as an anytime treat, this class is a warm and satisfying introduction to traditional French breads.
REFUND POLICY:
NY Cake Academy Classes are not eligible for refunds, however classes are transferrable.
All Bookings receive a confirmation immediately after booking. Please notify [email protected] if you do not receive a confirmation email. Students are responsible to ensure they receive and read their confirmation email. All supplies are included unless stated in the class description.
If you would like to change a class date, you may do so by emailing [email protected] 48 hours in advance. Please be sure to include the full name of the registered student, class confirmation number and class you wish to transfer into. If we do not receive an email from you stating you cannot make the class, your payment is forfeited. There is a 1 time courtesy makeup of a missed class. Please be sure you can make the new date and time before requesting a switch. If you do not show up to your makeup class, your tuition is forfeited.
If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, inclement weather or another circumstance beyond our control (power outage, facility issues, etc), we will contact you with as much advance notice as possible by email or telephone and issue you a refund to the original form of payment.
We will make every effort to run the class as long as it is safe to do so. If we make the decision to run the class and you decide not to come, you will not be able to get a refund, but we will offer you a credit for future use valid for 1 year.
