About this Event

When listening, are we truly hearing what is being said?

Most of us believe we already know how to listen. Yet research shows that miscommunication is the leading cause of relationship breakdowns, major business losses, and as we know, a fuel in escalating conflicts. Listening is not passive — it’s an active skill that begins even before we meet one another. Join the Goethe-Institut in collaboration with NEWConnective for The Art of Listening, an interactive 1.5-hour workshop. Expect stories, video reflections, and practical exercises that help you move beyond bias and filter bubbles into more genuine connections.
