April meeting will be a workshop lead by Krystal Skinner focused on abstract mixed media techniques. This is a hands-on activity, so bring your apron! Workshop Details:
Title: "The Art of Letting Go"
Medium: Water-resistant ink and watercolor
Techniques: Using ink-covered beads/marbles, Zentangle, and neurographic art principles
Philosophy: Emphasizing process over product for artistic freedom
The workshop encourages participants to release creative control by using unconventional tools to create flowing, abstract compositions. This approach often leads to surprising and satisfying results while reducing artistic anxiety.
