About Charles Pavarini III

Charles Pavarini III holds a B.F.A. in Architectural Interior Design. He studied product design under Massimo Vignelli at Harvard and Palladian architecture in Italy. A recipient of 34 design awards—including a LUMEN Award for his lighting sculpture Falling Sticks—he has served on the board of the Designers Lighting Forum of New York for over three decades.

Pavarini’s extensive experience, background in theater, and creative vision make him a trendsetting interior designer fluent in various styles. His work, known for its innovative lighting design and technological integration, spans both residential and commercial spaces. He has taught at Parsons School of Design for 10 years, created the CEU course The Fundamentals of LED Lighting for Designers, and launched six decorative lighting lines with Alora/Kuzco in 2021.
