Join us for a relaxed session exploring traditional Japanese ink painting, learn the basics of Sumi-e, and leave with your own expressive artwork. Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike.

Sumi-e (墨絵) is the timeless art of Japanese ink painting, using simple brush strokes and black ink to capture the essence of a subject. Meditative, expressive, and surprisingly approachable, Sumi-e is easy to learn—even for complete beginners.
No experience necessary!
This class is designed for beginners, and you’ll be amazed at what you can create with just a brush, ink, and a few foundational techniques.
