Join us for an Art Chat with Bonnie Primm, as she gives an introduction to the principles of Feng Shui. In this free to attend event, you'll spend one hour with Bonnie as she briefly touches on Feng Shui, its five elements and more. Art has the power to influence and to describe a feeling or cultural belief. There is almost always a purpose established by the artist and the medium employed.
What Feng Shui provides is a power of WHY; is its influence for the good, is it to teach or is it a reminder - positive or negative and HOW can one give it more intention.
Feng Shui goes beyond the Golden Mean. Why is art in corporations different from art in hospitals, guest rooms, or children's spaces? It is powerful, resilient and long lived.
Understanding Feng Shui and its five elements, Yin & Yang, Shapes, and Colors goes a long way to help the artist and the viewer to a deeper place of understanding: perhaps even to use its own power to persuade.

This workshop is free and open to the public, but your RSVP gives us an idea on what to expect! We accept walk-ins and RSVPs, but all spaces are first come first served - an RSVP does not guarantee your space. Please arrive on time.

With help from the Program for Improving Capacity and Capability (PICC) Grant, the d'Art Center is able to bring back free programming for our community, but we need your help to gather information required by the grant to meet our goal in Connecting the Community with the Visual Arts. Before the activity begins, attendees will be asked to fill out a Participation Card that includes questions such as age range, zip code, etc.
