Welcome to The Art of Distillation 201! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of steam distilling lavender and producing essential oil. Tour the LHF grounds with one of our exceptional guides and join our very own agricultural staff in the field where you’ll gain in depth knowledge of harvesting and processing. Round out your class by joining an LHF owner to cover the ins and outs of distillation, including setting up the still, preparing the lavender, and collecting and separating the essential oil from the hydrosol. Throughout the workshop, we'll discuss the benefits and uses of lavender essential oil in aromatherapy, skincare, and cleaning. You'll leave with a small bottle of lavender essential oil that you've distilled yourself, a bottle of hydrosol, you’re very own plant and a deeper understanding of the distillation process.

This workshop is $65 per person and age 12 and over.
Please dress in your gardening clothes. This is a rain or shine workshop and roughly 3 hours long.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the farm. Pre-Registration is required. Tickets are available for purchase up until 48 hours prior or until sold out.
