What is Cyanotype?
Explore the fascinating world of cyanotype, a non-toxic photographic process that uses chemistry and water to create stunning blue-hued prints. Learn how to harness the power of sunlight and natural objects to craft your very own unique masterpieces.
Workshop Highlights:
- Hands-On Experience:** Receive 4 pieces of 5” x 7” paper prepped for cyanotype printing. You will be creating your own cyanotype artwork to take home.
- Expert Guidance: We will share techniques and showcase examples of their own beautiful cyanotype work.
- All Materials Included: Tools and a variety of natural objects like plants will be provided. Feel free to bring your own nature treasures to experiment with!
Important Note:
Cyanotype printing is highly weather dependent. If the forecast predicts a cloudy day, we will reschedule to ensure the best experience for everyone. We will also have a UV light ready if the weather doesn't cooperate.
