The Art of Connection is a 90-minute intensive designed for dancers who want to refine their lead–follow skills, deepen partner awareness, and flow with more ease — no matter the style. Latin, ballroom, salsa, bachata–any partner dance.
Great dancing is not about learning new steps and patterns. The difference between “doing the steps” and “actually dancing it” is understanding the lead and follow conversation that is happening between you and your partner when you dance.
In this immersive workshop, you will discover how the subtle shifts in awareness, frame and timing can completely change the way you dance.
You’ll learn how to:
· Create clear, comfortable lead–follow communication
· Improve partner awareness and responsiveness
· Develop better frame, tone, and energy exchange
· Move together with less effort and more trust
· Feel more connected – without overthinking the steps
· Understand the role of lead and the role of the follower,
· Find your point of balance and time the lead, through cues in weight change, physical and visual follow.
