This 8-week masterclass, “The Art of Comedy & Public Speaking,” is taught by Joe Latham — a British comedian who embarked on this same journey years ago. Joe went from comedy class, to corporate training, and is now an accomplished performer who has written for BBC & MTV, and is an internationally touring comedian known for his sharp wit, magnetic charm, and quick-hitting punchlines. Joe has opened for major acts like Hans Kim, Michael Winslow, Greg Morton, and Kevin Farley… and now he’s ready to teach YOU.
Whether you dream of performing stand-up, want to upgrade your public speaking game, or simply want to become the most confident person in any room, this course gives you the professional tools to get there.
What You’ll Learn
Over the course of 8 weeks, Joe will guide you through the fundamentals of performance, humor, and communication, including:
- Joke Writing & Structure – Build punchlines from the ground up

Each week builds toward a single goal: You will leave this course with your own ORIGINAL 5-minute comedy set, written by you under Joe’s guidance.
Graduation Showcase
At the end of the 8-week journey, students will perform their polished 5-minute set in a live graduation show at Laugh Out Lounge — complete with a real audience, real stage lights, and the electric atmosphere only a comedy club can provide.

Classes begin begin Monday January 12th and will be held weekly, Monday nights at 7pm until completion. Graduation show will be held on a date agreeable to all participants in the course to allow for scheduling conflicts.
