About this Event
This workshop teaches how to create calligraphy using a dip pen and ink. While covering the basics, Jessica takes a meditative approach to teaching. Participants will learn how simple breathing techniques can help with not only creating beautiful calligraphy but also relieving overall stress. The workbook will have practice exercises focused on Spring holiday greetings, and you will be able to impress your loved ones by writing out gift tags or place cards for your next family gathering.
Your ticket includes:
- A 90-minute in-person instruction on calligraphy basics
- A workbook that covers the basic strokes, lowercase and uppercase Copperplate Calligraphy, plus extra practice exercises
- All necessary materials--a pen, ink and workbook to take home
- Choice of final product- You will be able to write out a phrase on a piece of cardstock you can take home and frame, gift tags, or some place cards for your next holiday dinner.
Mimosas as well as all your favorites from our award winning cafe will be available for purchase.
