There is an art and science to the breath. It is the first thing that brings us into the world and the last thing we do. Our breath is an agent for bringing oxygen into the body and for then ridding the body of waste. It is uniquely under both voluntary and involuntary control and quickly responds to our physical and emotional states. Through our yoga practice we are taught that breath can be a vehicle for self -relaxation and self regulation.
In this 2 hour workshop we will explore the art and science to breath practice, using pranayama, meditation and yoga postures that allow us to tune into our own innate wisdom. Bring a journal to write reflections, notes && more.
