Join us this week as we take a journey to Brazil, the largest country located in the southern hemisphere. We will learn about and take inspiration from the indigenous artists of the Amazon, the radical modernist movement as it unfolded in Sao Paulo in the 1920's, and the influence of Rio de Janeiro's carnival just to name a few! Each week students will create works inspired by the history, geography, culture, and art of a different country or region below the equator. Each 4 day camp will include a combination of two dimensional and three dimensional projects, and will be divided into a 6-10 year old age group and an 11-14 year old group. As always, we will learn a lot, play, explore, and expand our understanding of art and the world around us!

Drop off between 9:30-10, projects will begin at 10.

All Supplies Included
All art camps will run Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Students will need to bring a sack lunch, as well as a light snack for morning break. We will spend some time outside, so please pack sunscreen. Students need to wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get messy. Students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle with the student’s name on it.
