How do you walk alongside others, through the joys and sorrows of life? How do you know when you know when to speak and when to listen? How can you help them to recognize the Lord’s presence in their life?Serving others in this way describes the Art of Accompaniment. The Diocese of Pittsburgh has partnered with the Institute of Ministry Formation at Saint Vincent Seminary to teach this ministry of presence.
Come to “A One Day Workshop on Accompaniment." The day features presentations from Fr. Boniface Hicks, Dr. Helene Paharik and Kristin Molitor; experiential learning; small group discussions; and opportunities for ongoing support and collaboration among parishes. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
