The Art Circles

Welcome to Art Circles! 🎨✨

We invite everyone—whether you’re an artist, a creative spirit, or simply curious—to join us for a morning of connection, creativity, and healing after Hurricane Helene. Art Circles is about rediscovering the joy of creating without judgment, exploring your unique expression, and sharing a supportive space with others. No experience needed—just bring an open heart!

When: Sundays on 11/24, 12/8, and 12/22

Each gathering begins with a warm welcome, a centering exercise, and a chance to share how we’re taking care of ourselves and each other during these times. Our first circle will feature watercolors, natural materials, and recyclables for creating healing colors. Future sessions will include embroidery, collage, and more—a variety of materials to explore together.

Supplies: We’ll provide art materials, but feel free to bring any favorite brushes, watercolor paper, or unique items you’d like to add to the mix!

Suggested Donation: $20-$50 (no one turned away for lack of funds). Donations will support The Art Circle s’ facilitators as well as 12 Baskets Cafe’s community initiatives to continue these gatherings.

Ages: Primarily for adults (18+). Children are welcome if accompanied by a parent. We plan to expand to all ages as our circle grows.
