With a balanced understanding of artistic concepts, tools, techniques and workflow, the photographer can confidently create images worthy of hanging on any home or gallery wall.

Earl will share his knowledge and offer tips gathered over forty years of outdoor photography to clearly break down the elements of the fine landscape photograph.
The class will be both in the Precision Camera classroom and on location for hands on learning.
Audience
This workshop is geared towards all levels of photographers who are interested in landscape photography. It is strongly advised that all participants have a basic understanding of their camera’s controls prior to the class.
About the Instructor
Considered one of Texas’ foremost landscape photographers, Earl Nottingham has documented the state’s rugged and delicate beauty for over forty years and served as chief photographer for Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for twenty-five years. His images have been featured in numerous national and regional publications such as Texas Highways, Texas Monthly, National Geographic Traveler and Smithsonian magazines. He is the recipient of a Regional Emmy Award for his videography. Earl enjoys sharing his knowledge of the artistic and technical aspects that go into the making of a great photograph.
