About this Event
Join us for a SCiO Ireland workshop based on embodied systemic practices, to support grounding and right action in the midst of turbulance. The art of discerning patterns in our internal and institutional systems calls for systems thinking and systems being. While systems thinking equips us with the cognitive skills to perceive patterns and interrelationships between different parts of a situation, being present in an embodied way turbocharges our capability to understand and respond with a grounded wisdom. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to explore areas where you experience some kind of systemic stuckness and develop a sense of how to stay with not knowing what the right thing to do might be, and listening deeply to align your actions with what needs to emerge and happen in this situation.
We will also have the opportunity to build community amongst systems practitioners here in Ireland, so come with enough time to process and chat over lunch after the workshop, if you can.
The facilitator for this event is Joan O'Donnell PhD, who is an advanced Social Presencing Theatre facilitator and a systems practitioner and lecturer.
