This workshop is all about cultivating and refining your skills as a Yoga Teacher. It will be a small group, and very experimental and hands on. In this weekend workshop we will review the most common and fundamental poses in Yoga through alignment, props, variations, and cues. From there, we will discuss sequencing, elements of Flow (Vinyasa) teaching beginners, and various aspects of teaching Yoga.
We will explore considerations regarding sequencing, accessible options for beginners, prop usage, variations/ modifications, cueing, alignment considerations, and using Sanskrit (or not).
Carole will provide you with several sample sequences to use with beginners. In addition, there will be several opportunities to work in small groups to create sequences with peers, practice teaching, and honing the art and skill of teaching.
