This exhibition seeks to explore the profound relationship between love and structural integrity through mixed media. Zeek utilizes rebar which he defines not just as a construction element, but as a metaphor for love: a vital foundation that provides strength, unity, and durability in our lives. Drawing inspiration from his poetry book, Loving You in My Silence, he aims to illustrate how love, much like rebar, supports and reinforces our emotional structures, enabling us to withstand life’s challenges.
The Architecture of Love’s Bond: Silent Foundation will feature various forms of artwork, including mixed media on wood panels, metal prints, and canvas. A unique component of the exhibition will be a silhouette performance/dance that intertwines with the poetry being read, bringing the themes of love and connection to life in a dynamic and engaging way.
Additionally, attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to listen to original, never-released music by the artist, further enriching the experience.
