This December, DesignOne is relaunching โ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐กโ, a one-day workshop where architects, engineers, planners, environmental specialists, QS professionals, and contractors volunteer their expertise to deliver ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ-๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ-๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ณ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ-๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐.

This is a continuation of the community-focused work weโve championed for years, including past workshops that supported Habitat for Humanity, World Vision, and Solidaridad, as well as our ongoing CSR collaboration with the Sri Lanka Railway Department to elevate a Pekoe Trail train station into a community and eco-tourism node.

We are inviting NGOs, local groups, and community organisations to submit small, high-impact projects that would benefit from architectural guidance.
Examples include:
โข Repairing or improving community facilities
โข Classrooms or care spaces
โข Small bridges or access connections
โข Flood-resilient home support
โข Public-use micro-infrastructure
โข Urban Design, Drainage or resilience interventions
โข Tourism-linked facilities that support local business recovery
