We’re thrilled to be staging Melanie Tait's The Appleton Ladies’ Potato Race, Jan 24 – Feb. 1 !A must-see heart-warming Aussie comedy.
Based on a true story, the play follows Dr. Penny Anderson, who returns to her childhood town of Appleton and is outraged to discover a huge disparity in prize money for the town’s famous Potato Race—$1000 for men, only $200 for women. Penny takes a stand, launching a campaign to bring equality to the Appleton Show.
