About this Event
The Spread Love Project is the debut solo exhibition from Brooklyn-based photographer and artist Tyler Jordan, presenting a powerful collection of long-exposure subway photography. Using a signature technique involving an RGB light bar attached to moving trains, the series transforms the NYC Transit system into a canvas of light, color, and motion — celebrating the energy, spirit, and resilience of New York.
The exhibition will also mark the release of The White Book, a seven-chapter photography book exploring the hidden stories of the subway system through graffiti, architecture, abandoned spaces, and the vibrant cultures that thrive underground. Tyler draws from his personal experience working as a cleaner, conductor, and train operator to bring viewers into rarely seen corners of the city.
The show will be hosted at the C.A.N.V.A.S Gallery inside City Point BKLYN from April 19th to May 19th.
