Join us for an intoxicating evening of fiery flamenco performances when FLAMENCO! LIVE! presents a special evening with "AIRE FLAMENCO", formed in 1989 by Mark Taylor and Jaime del Rio. Master percussionist Rami Ziadeh was a mainstay with this duo. During the course of those years, AIRE FLAMENCO enlisted the fine artistry of many SF Bay Area and Santa Cruz Flamenco dancers, and musicians. Dancers Andrea "La Canela", "La Linda", and "La Fibi" were a vital part of this ensembles history.
AIRE FLAMENCO performed and toured for over 20 years in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Taos, New Mexico, and in Portland at The Portland Opera House.
FLAMENCO! LIVE! is so excited to bring back to life once more this important ensemble, with a rich local history, and relive again the magic and power of AIRE FLAMENCO...
