About this Event

We've spent months tracking down how each community and school district spent American Rescue Plan Act money in Ashland County.

The project investigated 23 townships and villages, the city of Ashland, the Ashland County Board of Commissioners, six public school districts and Ashland University.

It was one of the most ambitious public service journalism projects Ashland Source has ever published.

On Dec. 11, we thought it would be helpful to convene from 7-8:30 p.m. What did we find? Where did the money lead us? What insights did we gain?

The evening will feature reporters Dillon Carr and Mariah Thomas presenting their findings in a streamlined fashion. Have questions for the reporters? Come ask them.

Another portion of the night will feature a panel of elected/public officials willing to answer your questions. So far, the panel includes: Ashland Mayor Matt Miller; Ashland City Schools Supt. Steve Paramore; Ashland County Board of Commissioners President Denny Bittle and Village of Savannah Mayor Tom Kruse.
