GRUPO BEMBÉ
Bembé is a family of musicians brought together in 2007 by David Lugo to promote cultural music from Puerto Rico through performances, workshops, festivals, and other musical activities. Over the years, the family has grown and evolved into becoming one of Indy's favorite Latin bands - playing Puerto Rican cultural music and other Latin genres like Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, and Latin Rock throughout Indiana and nearby states.
Members include David Lugo, Nelson Ocasio, Roberto Begerón, Joel Rolón, Ezequiel Jimenez, mado Valazquez, Cody Arnholt, Matt Walde, Micky Morales, and larry Arone. They're from different countries (Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Panama, Mexica, and the US), resulting in a unique sound that makes it very hard to resist moving your body!
