Join the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI) and our partners at the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust (PRLT) for a film premiere and panel discussion at GMRI on Thursday, April 10.
The short film showcases the journey of alewives as they return to the Presumpscot River to spawn. With beautiful footage of last year’s guided group walks at Mill Brook Preserve, attendees will gain insight into the importance of preserving this species and the ongoing conservation efforts to protect them.
The screening will be followed by an interactive panel discussion featuring experts from both GMRI and PRLT, who will delve into the film's themes of conservation, climate change, and recreation in the Gulf of Maine. The panel will be moderated by Glenn Prickett, President and CEO of GMRI.

Details:
Doors open at 5:30 pm, and complimentary refreshments will be available in the atrium. The film will begin at 6:00 pm in the Cohen Center. Parking is free for all registered attendees in the lot next to our building.
