A Screening of No Other Land and a Conversation on Peace
Interested in understanding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the unexpected collaborations for peace and justice in the region?
Join us for a thought-provoking evening beginning with the Academy Award-winning documentary No Other Land. A panel discussion will follow with Khalil Sayegh (The Agora Initiative) and Celeste Marcus (Liberties: A Journal of Culture and Politics).

ABOUT THE PANELISTS:
Celeste Marcus is the executive editor of Liberties Journal and the author of Chaïm Soutine: Genius Obsession, and a Dramatic Life in Art. She has written at length about Israel and Palestine for publications around the world, and is at work on a book project about Liberalism, Zionism, and Fascism. She is also cohost of the podcast Not A Dialogue with Khalil Sayegh.
Khalil Sayegh is the Executive Director and founder of Agora Initiative and a political analyst focused on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Khalil lived most of his life in Gaza and the West Bank, where he was involved in political activism and humanitarian initiatives. Previously, Khalil worked on several international organisations focusing on promoting freedom of religion and the rule of law in the Middle East. He served on the board of several humanitarian organisations and grassroots peace organisations.
Khalil’s writing is featured in several outlets, including Al-Monitor, The New Arab, The Economist, and WSJ. He is regularly on TV to offer analyses, including the BBC, ABC Australia, and Al Jazeera. He holds a Master's in Political Science from American University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical studies from Bethlehem Bible College. Khalil co-hosts the Not a Dialogue podcast with Celeste Marcus.
