Join us for an evening of poetry, comedy, live music & sweet treats at Chococo on Gandy Street. Just like a regular Spork! (filled with all the usual incredible acts) but more chilled, and much more chocolatey. The fantastic and acclaimed poet Lilly Redwood is joined by silly stand-up poet Chris White, and Bard of Exeter Ceri Baker. Plus some live music TBA, and (of course) delicious hot chocolates, soft drinks and other refreshments available to buy from the café. Lily Redwood writes about the everyday extraordinary from the political to the poetical, combining spoken word with tender verse, which comes alive through her live performance. Lily's debut pamphlet, You Make Me Think of Swifts, is out now with The Collective Press.

Ceri Baker is a slam-winning poet, performer and facilitator. The current ‘Bard of Exeter,’ she has performed her poetry all across the UK, recently published her debut collection “F*ck it, Pass the Salt,” and is known for her raw, honest writing punctuated by humour, humanity and a captivating delivery.
Chris White is a performer, poet and the soggiest bottom in all Exeter. The founder of Spork! Poetry, he’s a slam winning poet who frequently performs his work at nights and festivals from Shambala to Tongue Fu. He was the first Riddler in Residence at Exeter Cathedral, has performed on buses and boats, and likes writing silly words about queerness, identity and ducks.
Plus a bit of live music from local talented artists, and some free chocolate to boot!
Please note, this event will take place upstairs at Chococo, which is only accessible via 1 flight of stairs, with the toilet also located on the first floor. This is a alcohol free event, but the café at Chococo will be open all night and selling their usual range of delicious hot drinks, soft drinks and sweet treats.
The event is adult orientated, with an age guidance of 14+.
Tickets are Pay Whatever You Want, from £6 - with all proceeds going towards the artists
