Build a sled and bring it to the park a little before 2pm! Then slide down for the crowd and accept cheers and adulation for your courage and creativity! There are no rules about designs, sizes or materials. This is not a contest, it's a celebration!
If you're not building anything please come and go hoarse cheering each creation as it takes the slope. Sometimes there are five sleds sometimes there are fifty! The moderators will try to keep you in good cheer. These days one must say dress appropriately, rather than dress warm.
