The neighborhoods along and around NW 6th St, between NW 23rd Ave and University Avenue, are anything but new. On this ride, we will visit some historic landmarks, sites of lost industry, and sites of continued controversy as we ride the streets and sidewalks of this section of Northwest Gainesville. Let's Explore Our City! - Meet in the parking lot of AUK Market (2031 NW 6th St, Gainesville, FL 32609). The ride begins promptly at 4:00 PM, but check-in starts at 3:30 PM.
- $5 suggested donation per rider please.
- The tour will last about 2 hours and end back at Auk
Market/Curia/Dad's Bar. Let's be safe! Helmets and personal water are strongly recommended! We will be finishing the ride around dusk so bring lights!
- As we might enjoy some Dad's Bar cold beers before the ride, I suggest riding to the location. If it looks like rain, we will cancel and reschedule!
