The Festival kicks off with a separate ticketed Sunday Luncheon at 12:30. Attendees sit and chat with authors and hear from 2025 Gilbert-Sadler speaker Pablo Cartaya. The luncheon is followed by book signings from 2:30-3:30 in the Union Building. Monday and Tuesday are full days of presentations by 22 nationally-recognized authors and illustrators attended by thousands of Missouri school kids in grades 3-10.
