About this Event
The 555 Show is a community-driven creative showcase highlighting Lao artists, performers, storytellers, and creatives from across the diaspora. This first-of-its-kind Houston event brings together music, storytelling, art, and conversation to celebrate Lao voices and lived experiences—right here in Houston.
What to Expect
- Live performances from Lao musicians and artists
- Select vendor booths featuring Lao-owned businesses and creatives
- Raffle prizes and specialty cocktails available for purchase to support the event
- DJ set after the program for community hang and vibes

3:00 PM — Pre-Yoga Class with Naomi
4:15 PM — Show Begins
4:30 PM — Traditional Lao Blessing Dance
4:45 PM — Dani Vong
5:25 PM — Ryan Noravong
5:55 PM — Healing Out Lao’d (Documentary + Discussion)
6:40 PM — Andrew Phothirath
7:20 PM — Hopii Tee
8:00 PM — DJ Set and Community Hang

Ways to Support the Show
A portion of proceeds from this event will support Jai Lao, a nonprofit empowering the Lao community in the U.S. and in Laos through scholarships, school-building, and educational support. Healing Out Lao’d and other community partners will also be supported and featured throughout the evening.
Donations can be made by purchasing a ticket and adding a donation, or directly via our .
There are also several other ways to support during the event:
