The nation’s longest running Bach Marathon returns on March 16 from 1 to 6 pm.On March 16 from 1 to 6 pm, delve into the world of J.S. Bach, as St. David’s is filled with swirling counterpoint and unfurling melodies. Now in its 49th year, the Baltimore Bach Marathon welcomes the area’s best Baroque interpreters bring to life the master’s music, this year including a performance of the Well-Tempered Clavier, volume 1, and the cantata Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, BWV 190.
The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 12:30 pm. A suggested donation of $10-$20 directly benefits the musicians and the music series.
