FREE two-day, family-friendly event celebrating the strawberry and signaling the beginning of festival season in the Roanoke Valley. Entering its 45th year as a fundraising event for Community School, the festival draws attendees from all over the Mid-Atlantic region. Homemade Strawberry Shortcake, artisan and local business vendors, musical entertainment and so much more. This year's event will be located on Elmwood Park's South Lawn in Downtown Roanoke.Friday, May 2, 11am - 7pm
