About this Event

"The 45th”, a docudrama created by Dazié Grego-Sykes, weaves personally conducted interviews and performances featuring Black perspectives and voices that reveal how Black people have confronted, made sense of, and been changed by The 45th President of the United States.

Artist Bio:

Dazié Grego-Sykes is an Oakland, California based poet. He holds an M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts and Writing from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Currently he is working as an Associate Artistic Director for community-based arts organization Skywatchers and promoting his original collection of poetry titled Black Faggotry and his debut spoken-word album Make Me Black.
