Team and public we will meet for the 36th Annual Star Run/walk to bring in the great year 2026 with some leisurely movement up to the Mill Mountain Star, our icon of the Valley.Hike up, walk up, run up, whichever mode of movement you choose!
Make sure you are up there by 9am for the group pic! If you noticed the time to meet is 7:30am it is because I am so quick up Mill mountain, heheh. Last year Jimmy Moore delivered me by car to the top after a .50 remaining struggle to make it to the 9am pic. Never will forget that experience. Thanks Jimmy. Please remember the founder among a few others of the 36th year of this run, Gary Adkins, our friend. We will take him up there with us as we lost him this past July and give Sandy A. Andrew a hug if led to do so. She lost the love of her life and a legend he is. Group picture at 7:30am and off we go from the Pedestrian Bridge start on Wiley Drive as last years past. Happy New Year upcoming!! Any questions let me know. New members and ones who have never attempted to run or walk the mountain, this is a great opportunity to do it with others that have run this mountain 20 plus years!!!
