Detroit, are you ready? 🎤
313 SLAM is back for one unforgettable night of raw, high-energy poetry. Local poets will take the stage to compete for $313 in prizes and a Bunny’s Worth of Cookies from Peddler’s Pastries. You, the audience, will help decide who rises to the top.
Whether you’re here to perform or cheer on your favorite poet, this is Detroit poetry at its finest.

🕖 Doors: 7PM | Show: 8PM
Poet Registration:
- Entry Fee: $22.50
- Max Poets: 13
- Round Structure:
- Round 1 — 3 minutes
- Round 2 — 1 minute
- Final Round — 3 minutes
- Grace: Each round 13 seconds grace
- Judges: 5 Detroit-based judges
- Format: Top 4 advance to the final round
Prizes:
- 1st Place: $150 + Bunny’s Worth of Cookies 🐇🍪
- 2nd Place: $100
- 3rd Place: $40
- 4th Place: $23
