We warmly welcome you to join us for the 20th Maple Leaf and Eagle Conference in North American Studies. To celebrate the nearly four decades that MLE has been providing a valuable forum for cross-disciplinary encounters in North American Studies scholarship, the theme of this year focuses on the unions and divisions at the core of North American experience and their transnational connections and ramifications. The conference will feature a diverse selection of panels engaging with this theme in multiple fronts of the North American societies, from Indigenous to conservative political movements to immigration policies, literature, media and soundscapes.
