The tradition continues on Friday, October 10th when the 20th Annual (I Gotta) Rock! Show returns to the stage of The Press Room. The Rock Show includes the much-anticipated announcement of our next Grand Marshal, kick-ass raffle prizes, and of course, fantastic music!

*** About the Portsmouth Halloween Parade ***
This event is a collaboration in support of New Hampshire’s biggest Halloween parade that is brought to you by the people, for the people. The parade is NOT a city-sponsored event. It is staged by volunteers and funded solely by the community, primarily through grassroots events like this one. Thank you for your support.

North Village was born from the embers of the Seacoast Last Waltz Project, as singer/songwriter Martin England discussed starting a new band with Last Waltz bassist Greg Glasson after one of their rehearsals. The duo was joined by drummer Rick Habib and keyboardist Jay Cohen in the spring of 2022, followed by guitarist Marc Vachon Jr in 2023. The band is currently in the process of recording and releasing many of England’s compositions. Lyrically, the songs are steeped in the fires of love and loss but reek of resilience and joy. Musically, these arrangements range from inspired, frenetic jams to super-focused melodic tapestries, pulling in various influences by The Band, the Allman Brothers, Uncle Tupelo, John Prine, and the Grateful Dead. North Village Band's debut album will be released July 2025.

Kouchera delivers high-energy, soul-stirring performances, blending the richness of Soul, the emotive storytelling of Rhythm & Blues, and the rhythms of Haitian Konpa. We craft a live music experience that brings you and your loved ones to your feet!

With a lineup that adapts from a tight duo to a full eight-piece band, we tailor each performance to fit the vibe—whether it’s an intimate gathering or a festival stage.
