Join us as we launch the 2026 Guelph Women's Municipal Campaign School, an evening dedicated to inspiring everyone in our community to get involved in local politics.
What's the event about?
- Learning how to get involved either as a candidate or in a supporting role
- Strengthening community engagement in the upcoming municipal election
- Inspiring people identifying as women to consider running for office
- Encouraging everyone to support potential candidates
Whether you’re interested in running for Mayor, City Councillor, or School Board Trustee—or you're inspired to support someone else’s campaign—this event is for you.

- Dominique O'Rourke – Guelph MP and former city councillor
- Alethia O'Hara-Stephenson – Upper Grand District School Board trustee

The event is free but get your tickets by November 10 as space is limited! Donations are welcome at the door.

About the 2026 Guelph Women's Municipal Campaign School: Taking place in February 2026, this is a day of workshops dedicated to teaching people identifying as women how to run for office as well as how to support those in the running. No experience necessary. More on this at the launch event.
