Save the date!Following the success of the first ever UK Bluefin Tuna Championship event in September, and the support received since from sponsors, skippers and anglers, we have, with our partners agreed the dates for a similar event in 2025.
In reponse to feedback it will be a three day event, running from Thursday 4th September to Saturday 6th September.
Thursday would be provisionally earmarked as a 'practice' day, but if the forecast for Friday or Saturday were to look bad we could convert Thursday into a competition day. Such a format is very common in international tournaments.
We will be based once again in Falmouth in 2025, given the great facilities and social scene we experienced there this year.
In the next couple of weeks we will be providing details of where you can formally 'register your interest' for the event.
Obviously between now and September 2025 there are unknowns to be clarified, not least of which is the granting of permits to all/any who may wish to fish next year and maybe participate in this event.
