About this Event
Montgomery Women is delighted to announce the much-anticipated return of the Montgomery Women Annual Power Tea.
This signature event, which has highlighted the achievements of outstanding women leaders since 2005 (with a brief hiatus during the pandemic) will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Mansion at Strathmore in North Bethesda.
The Power Tea will once again feature the presentation of the Shining Star Award. This coveted award honors a current Montgomery Women member who has shown outstanding accomplishments in her volunteer or career activities, has made positive changes in the Montgomery County community, and who is a remarkable leader that is a model for others. The Shining Star Award commemorates the legacies of Delegate Jane Lawton and County Councilmember Marilyn Praisner for their indelible contributions to public service.
Join us for this inspiring celebration of women's leadership and empowerment.
Please note: Members of Montgomery Women enjoy complimentary admission to the Power Tea with registration. Tickets for non-members will soon be available for purchase.
