Culver City English Country Dance (CCECD) is thrilled to announce our 2024 Playford-to-the-Present Ball!Join us on the Third Saturday in October, Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., at the Pasadena Masonic Temple.
We're delighted to welcome ANNA RAIN of Washington, D.C. as our dance leader! She will teach a fun program of dances to wonderful live music from an incredible trio of musicians: AUDREY LEIGH JABER (violin), BEN JACKSON (violin), and CHIP PRINCE (piano).

We currently anticipate Covid contact tracing requirements with optional masking will be in effect. Masking and vaccines are recommended but not required. This policy change began with the CCECD May 2024 dances and we expect this policy to be in effect for the ball, assuming no significant changes in the overall Covid situation.
Please note: Refunds will only be given if the event is canceled.
As always, this ball is for knowledgable dancers. It is assumed that all attendees are familiar with basic ECD figures. All dances (except FTWK dances) will have a walk-through and prompting.
Join us for our dance practices leading up to the event! Practices are held September 29 at Lindberg Park Stone House, and October 6 at the Woman's Club of South Pasadena, both from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. (Also attend our regular CCECD dances on Second and Fourth Sundays!) We'll also have a Final Review on Friday, October 18 at Skandia Hall in Pasadena.
