The 2024 National Button Society (NBS) Conference “La Joie des Boutons,” will be held August 4-10. Button lovers are gathering at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley, 333 West College Ave., Appleton, WI. Close to a million buttons of all prices, materials and ages will be displayed and offered for sale by approximately 35 button vendors. The button showroom is open to the public. Showroom entrance fee for adults is $5 and are open: Thursday, August 8 and Friday, August 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, August 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Members can register at https://members.nationalbuttonsociety.org/event-5708638

The show is generally attended by hundreds of button collectors and enthusiasts from all over the USA and the world. The special NBS Hilton room rate is $109 per night plus a $10 self-parking fee per night.
Members of the NBS compete for awards by submitting cards full of specifically-themed buttons that will be judged by experts to proclaim category winners. In addition, a gallery of members’ creative button mountings, arts and crafts will be on display and judged to determine winners in a variety of categories.
