Come out and join the Louisville Anime Community and our friends of cosplay for photos and dinner over the weekend. The Cosplay Walk is a great time to come out, make friends, and promote awareness of our respective fan communities to the public. The event is open to the public. We will begin to gather at about 3 PM under the main pillar of the KY side Big 4 Bridge ramp. Use this time to take photos or network. Media crews may be present at that time.
At 4PM we will begin our walk up the ramp and across to Indiana. It takes about 30-40 minutes to walk across. Once on the other side we will collect around the big covered awning area beside the bridge for any additional photos and breaking up for dinner or other activities.
Around the IN side there are a variety of places to grab a small snack and socialize. As well as a couple bars, a tea house, Cluckers, and a couple more dinner fare places.
For safety we will have some coolers of free drinks. Do keep in mind that with Kentucky weather it will be hard to predict the temperature until closer to the day of the event. Plan to wear cosplay that will keep you warm. Comfortable shoes are a must.
There will be very limited ability to take people back to the KY side by car (unless you'd like to volunteer! see below).
We will have sanitizer available. If you are sick, feverish, congested, or feel ill, please stay home.
