Music gig performing two sets from the back catalogue of Stumpy Sanderson's extraordinary 1970s songs discovered on the old Memorex cassettes in his two time capsules.
Will be playing such numbers as 'Mrs Butterfield's Carpet', 'The Bonfire of the Dr Scholl's Sandals', and 'Space Hopper Supermarket Incident', as well as some old faves, and sharing some astonishing memories and anecdotes behind the songs.
Stumpy's music has been described by some as a surreal cross between The Stranglers, Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, and a punky Val Doonican.
