About this Event
Designing Systems With Intention
What if the systems shaping our lives aren’t failing by accident—but by design? When pressure is high and resources are limited, leaders are often forced into unavoidable tradeoffs. This session explores what it truly takes to build institutions that prioritize dignity, belonging, and wellbeing.
The Discussion
Bacilia Angel—systems builder, community engineer, and author—breaks down a practical blueprint for institutional change. Drawing from her work, The 14 Principles: A Manifesto for Building the World We Deserve, she offers a candid look at engineering environments that actually work for the people inside them.
What to expect:
- Insights on Systems Thinking: Learn how to redesign healthcare, education, and civic systems to serve the many, not the few.
- Leadership Lessons: Strategies for leading with authenticity, joy, and an "unshakable belief" in community power.
- The 14 Principles: An exclusive deep dive into the manifesto that guides her work in scaling bold, community-led ideas.
- Q&A Session: A chance to engage directly with Bacilia on how to apply these principles to your own leadership journey.
