About this Event

Jacksonville, FL -- On February 12-16, 2025, Jacksonville will come alive with a historic, world-class tribute celebrating the 125th Anniversary of “Lift Every Voice and Sing, composed by James Weldon Johnson, and set to music by his brother, J. RosamondJohnson.

The Lift Every Voice and Sing World Tribute will be a multi-day event filled with performances, dialogues, and cultural celebrations, highlighting the legacy of Johnson and his iconic song.

Registration is open to students in grades: 3-12

Students are required to learn all the lyrics and attend two rehearsals.

The rehearsal dates are Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
