Drop into the middle of raw and honest conversations with women about love, sex, family, heartbreak, and how we define ourselves in and out of relationships. Therese Barbato hosts this slumber-party style podcast from her bed in Brooklyn, but the live show brings the slumber party to you! Host Therese Barbato and guest co-host Lisa Kleinman bring you "that's what she said's" Caveat debut with 3 incredible guests dishing on the theme: "Bad Dates" Join us for one of your first post-pandemic outings to laugh and reminisce about bad dates, over a drink!


Hosts:


Therese Barbato is a Brooklyn based actor, teaching artist and the creator and host of the podcasts that's what she said and wild love. She was most recently seen in King Lear on Broadway with Glenda Jackson, and has worked as an actor all over the country. Therese has a BFA from Boston University and a Masters degree in Acting from The Juilliard School.


Lisa Kleinman is a comedian, writer, and producer who is currently Director of Development for Comedy Central Digital. Previously she produced, created, and developed projects for TruTV, MTV, Bravo, Disney, TBS, Travel, Viceland, Jash, E!, Refinery 29, Cosmo, Conde Nast, Above Average, and Funny Or Die. She was a regular performer at the UCB Theatre.

Ana Cruz Kayne is an NYC based actress/writer. Upcoming projects include acting in the film Jerry and Marge Go Large with Annette Bening and Bryan Cranston. Also a TV series in development, called Decamping-- which she wrote and will star in.


Cusi Cram is a playwright, TV writer, director, performer, educator, and the incoming Associate Chair of the Dramatic Writing Department at Tisch. She was a long-time writer on PBS's animated kid's show, Arthur for which she received three Daytime Emmy nominations. She's written on shows for kids and adults which have aired on Amazon, PBS, Showtime, and the BBC, including the Big C starring Laura Linney. Her plays have been produced at theaters large and petite all over the country---some NY spots include: Primary Stages, LAByrinth, New Georges, The Atlantic, The Public, and Rattlestick. She lives between Manhattan and the Catskills with her wildly talented husband, Peter K. Hirsch and way too many orange cats.


Mallory Portnoy was most recently seen on Broadway as Gertie Cummings in Daniel Fish's Tony Award winning revival of Oklahoma!. Other New York credits include Oklahoma! (St. Ann's Warehouse, Bard Summerscape), Privacy (The Public Theater in Association with The Donmar Warehouse), A Midsummer Night's Dream (The Public Theater/Shakespeare in the Park). Regionally she has appeared in productions at Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Chautauqua Theater Company. TV: The Good Fight (CBS), Grace and Frankie (Netflix), The Helpsters (Apple TV). Mallory is co-creator of the comedy series Human Interest (winner of Best Digital Short Series at Series Fest) and Roger, The Chicken (LA Comedy Film Festival, Friars Club Comedy Film Festival). Training: University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign, Juilliard.

Proof can be via the New York State Excelsior pass, a physical copy of the CDC card, a photo of your CDC card, or other electronic record of vaccination includes name and date (e.g., some chain pharmacies have an app with this information). In all cases the name must match that on your photo ID.

Tickets may be refunded up to 24 hours before the event. Within 24 hours we may take exchanges for other events at our discretion. No refunds after the event.
